TTG POLICY updates

All policies and updates posted here are considered to be effective immediately as of the date and time of posting. 

4TH Quarter reminders OF EXISTING POLICY and NEW policy changes

IF SOME OF THESE THINGS DON'T APPLY TO YOU PLEASE DISREGARD. THIS INFORMATION IS BEING DISTRIBUTED TO ALL SIGNED TALENT AND ALL UNSIGNED TALENT IN ARTIST DEVELOPMENT AS A REMINDER AND UPDATE DUE TO THE ACTIONS OF SOME OF THE ARTISTS, NOT ALL OF THEM. AGAIN, IF SOME OF THIS DOESN'T APPLY TO YOU PLEASE DISREGARD AND THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF TEAM TITAN. 
1. TITAN NO LONGER HAS TIERS AND IS NO LONGER PURSUING FILLING THE TITAN TWELVE SPOTS. All signed artists are signed artists with Titan Talent Group and entitled to 2 meetings initiated by TTG per month per your contracts (meeting can be virtual or in person depending on TTG's availability). If additional meetings are required and the schedule permits, additional ones will be added and can be requested by the artists or TITAN TALENT GROUP reps. Effective immediately, TIERS 1, 2 & 3 have been dissolved. 

2. CALLS MUST BE MADE TO THE COMPANY PHONE ONLY.  No artists may send text messages or call staff on mobile devices unless authorized to specifically for a performance or appearance booked by TTG. Effective immediately all artists must send emails or call the company when assistance is required. Effective immediately no calls or texts to staff mobile devices will be answered or replied to. You may call the COMPANY, TITAN TALENT GROUP VIA 980-202-2446 AND CALLS WILL BE RETURNED OR REPLIED TO VIA EMAIL DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS, MONDAY - FRIDAY. OUR OFFICE HOURS ARE 9AM-5PM. Someone will either return your voicemail, or send an email follow up to your voicemail at the discretion of TTG staff.

YOU MAY CALL TITAN TALENT GROUP AND EMAIL AS OFTEN AS YOU WISH, UNLIMITED. 


3. Management is advice and counsel regarding your career. If you do not take heed to said advice or counsel and produce your own strategies and plans, do not contact TTG midway or at the conclusion of planning or execution for advice. If we are not a part of the plan or conversation at it's inception, we do not need to be a part of the plan or conversation midway through completion or during completion. If you start planning it on your own, finish planning it on your own. If we tell you something that you need or should be doing for your career and you don't take heed, don't be surprised if your next few strategy meetings are us offering you the exact same strategy that you haven't explored or implemented since we initially presented it to you. We will not waste time providing advice or counsel that is repeatedly ignored or overlooked. You ultimately choose what is best for your career but if your choices constantly conflict with management advice, at some point we will probably advise you that you are a better manager of your career and that you should be released to continue to take your own advice and for us to make room for people who do want ours. 

4. IT SHOULD NOT COST US MONEY TO MANAGE YOU. ALL EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH EXECUTION OF MANAGEMENT ADVICE ARE YOURS, NOT TITAN'S. We are not a record label, we are not interns, we are not volunteers, we do not work for free and WE DO NOT FUND ARTISTS CAREERS IN WHOLE OR PART. Anything you require outside of your monthly strategy meetings and the unlimited emails permitted to you will have a fee assessed to it for execution. Media tours, social media management, graphic design work, phone calls or emails sent on your behalf outside of the normal scope of our booking resources, admin assistant outsourcing, music videos, studio time, a publicist for PR services, etc. WE DO NOT WORK FOR FREE, WE WILL NOT ALLOW OUR STAFF TO WORK FOR FREE.  You pay the engineer for studio time, you pay the videographer for music videos, you buy clothes in a store, you will pay for anything outside of the general scope of management services. 

5. TTG is not a booking agent. We are a management firm that provides booking resources and solicits clients to review your profiles in the hopes of securing bookings and deals for our artists. It is up to the client who they choose and why. Artists who do not invest in their overall image, who do not have significant followers, significant streams, subscribers, no paid marketing strategies or roll out execution for music upon release, have low budget visuals, have no visuals, have poorly maintained socials, who frequently pay to perform on stage instead of being paid, who make politically charged comments alienating their audience or the general public or a particular group, who may not be physically attractive or marketable to an audience, who have a poor sense of style, are not great lyricists, don't have good stage presence, who don't spend money monthly / weekly on marketing and branding, have an outdated style of music, or any other host of variables that make them otherwise undesirable to a client with a budget for performers or deals, are probably not going to book any paid work. WE WORK OFF OF COMMISSION. IF YOU DON'T LOOK MARKETABLE TO COMPANIES AND BRANDS, AND WE CAN'T EARN ANY COMMISSION BECAUSE WE CAN'T BOOK YOU AND YOU DON'T TAKE OUR ADVICE OR FOLLOW OUR INSTRUCTIONS, YOU WILL MOST LIKELY BE DROPPED FROM YOUR CONTRACT TO MAKE ROOM FOR THOSE WHO DO TAKE HEED TO AND EXECUTE THE STRATEGIES AND ADVICE WE OFFER AND HAVE POTENTIAL TO GENERATE REVENUE FOR TITAN. 

6. WHAT ARE YOU BRINGING TO THE TABLE?  Signing with an agency doesn't mean you come to the table month after month empty handed. You should constantly be providing us with your own contacts and ideas and opportunities that we can flesh out, vet or build upon for you. If you want radio play, you should come prepared to purchase radio play packages from us or a dj coalition or whatever platform you deem best or prepared to execute a strategy designed for you. If you want a press run, you should come to us prepared to purchase a media tour package and have a list of media outlets that you would like us to contact in addition to our media lists and our professional contacts. Help us to help you. We have an artist here who has created an excel spreadsheet of all of his professional music contacts and how he knows them and what they do,  for us to contact them and see how they can be of use to his brand. He has also paid us for this service. This is outside of the scope of management, but it's something he knows he needs that will add value to his brand and ultimately lead to opportunities. He purchased the admin assistant package. 

7. Alicia Zeigler is not your manager. TITAN TALENT GROUP IS YOUR MANAGEMENT FIRM. Alicia Zeigler is not who you are signed to. YOU ARE SIGNED TO TITAN TALENT GROUP. ANYONE WHO WORKS FOR TITAN TALENT GROUP can assist you with anything that you need to be successful. If they don't know the answer to a question, rest assured they will run it up the chain of command until someone gets what you need and they will get back to you as soon as possible. Please allow yourself to get comfortable with the fact that the company that manages you will continue to do so with the training and instruction provided to them by Ms. Zeigler. You do not need to speak to her, you need to speak to TITAN TALENT GROUP, which is here to help you with all of your management needs. We are fully staffed at this time and all email boxes are managed and maintained by a trained team member. Sometimes you will speak to her, sometimes you will not. Alicia Zeigler, effective immediately is only managing two clients personally, Petey Pablo and Tystatz. INTRO TALENT BRANDING & MANAGEMENT AGENCY AND TITAN TALENT GROUP (HER STAFF AND CONTRACTORS) ARE MANAGING & DEVELOPING THE REMAINING 200 OR SO MODELS, ACTORS AND MUSIC ARTISTS UNDER HER COMPANIES. 

8. We do not attend performances we did not book. It should not cost TITAN to manage you. Going to an event that we did not book and did not earn a commission off of requires us to take time off of work, burn gas to get to and from the event, pay for parking, pay for entry, buy drinks and meals, etc. We are not paying hundreds of dollars per month on "supporting" artists at events we didn't book, didn't earn commission on, and have to pay to attend in any capacity. If you would like to request someone to attend an event you can send an email and specify why and we will advise you how to proceed. if you want social media content or footage, you will be referred to a videographer, if you need someone to work your merchandise table, you will be referred to hire one of our interns to work the event for you, if you need someone to network on your behalf, you will be referred to hire an assistant from Titan for the event. IF WE BOOKED THE EVENT, WE EARNED PAID COMMISSION FROM THE BOOKING AND NEGOTIATED FREE ENTRY & PARKING FOR STAFF AND WE WILL COME OUT TO SUPPORT AND NETWORK ON YOUR BEHALF. 

9. We are your colleagues, not your friends. We are not obligated to take or return calls to chat without purpose, gossip, "catch up", talk about life or current events, etc. We are a company and this company was created to work. When we connect it must be with the purpose of connecting to complete work with you or on your behalf. You do not call Macy's to chat, you call to find out if the merchandise you need is in stock and you terminate the call. You do not call Pizza Hut to chat, you call to place an order and you terminate the call. You contact the business with the purpose of doing business. The same must apply here. We of course desire to have good rapport with and knowledge of our clients, however some artists are abusing phone and text privileges which is why we have to adjust this policy. Time spent communicating with clients must be fruitful and productive and with the aim or goal of generating revenue for both the client and the company. On average our staff is logging 10-15 hours a week combined on fruitless calls and text messages. WE ARE NOT PAYING STAFF LABOR WAGES TO TALK ABOUT NOTHING. OUR COMPANY CANNOT AFFORD THAT. THEY ARE ON THE CLOCK EVERY CALL AND TEXT WITH AN ARTIST. THEY NEED TO BE WORK RELATED. 

10. NO CREDIT EXTENSIONS ALLOWED. In our management contracts, it states that each artist can incur a pre-approved amount of debt not to exceed $500 payable by or before the 30th of the month in which the debt was incurred. Effective immediately, due to an artist we just released running up a tab of $2134 and not paying as well as other artists being late consistently with invoices, no artist can carry a balance here effective immediately. All services must be paid for in full prior to work beginning. No exceptions. WE DO NOT FUND ARTISTS, WE ARE NOT A LABEL AND WE DO NOT WORK FOR FREE. 

11. OUR SOCIAL MEDIA BELONGS TO US. You are to use your social media to promote your projects and post as you wish. We are to use our social media to promote our projects and post as we wish. We are not obligated to repost or share low quality content, poorly designed graphics, grainy videos, irrelevant content, things we've already posted once, content that includes artists not signed to or affiliated with TITAN TALENT GROUP, posts advertising PAY TO PLAY PERFORMANCES (where everyone knows you paid to get on stage and there are no notable celebrity artists on the ticket), posts advertising PERFORMANCES WE DID NOT BOOK, posts that contain polarizing or offensive statements, etc etc etc. Use your social media to promote your brand and TITAN will use ours to promote ours. Sometimes that will include all or a fraction of our artists, sometimes it will include just our services and marketing ads. You may tag us, we may or may not share. 
12. RESPECT IS NOT OPTIONAL. If you are rude or disrespectful or demanding or out of line in any way, we will release you from your contract. You do not make demands of us, tell us what to do, etc. We are not your friends, your girlfriends, wives, children, etc. You will at all times speak to TITAN TALENT GROUP with respect and noone is permitted to make demands of us or tell us what we will and won't do. You may have a respectful dialogue, voice your needs, concerns, pleasure or displeasure with a particular course of action and you may make requests, but you may not demand or insist. If we need to reschedule a meeting, change a plan, etc you can go with it or you can request to be released, you do not make demands of us. We are adults, just like you and we are a company and we will be respected just as any other company you do business with. 

13. IF YOU ARE NOT REALLY TAKING YOUR MUSIC SERIOUSLY, IF THE CHANGES MADE TO THE COMPANY OR THE REMINDERS ABOUT EXISTING POLICY DON'T WORK FOR YOU, PLEASE REQUEST A RELEASE. Anyone who requests to be released as a result of these reminders of existing policy and new updates made to existing policy will be considered to have left on good terms due to creative differences and are still permitted to participate in the TITAN TAKEOVER TOUR at the rates available to the public for registration. There are no hard feelings, we want everyone to be in the best position moving into the new year to ensure a successful 2023. We want all positive energy, maximum efficiency and professionalism for and by all parties moving into 2023 whether that be with us/you or without us/you. Email operations@titantalentgroup.com for release requests.

The reminders regarding current policy and the changes to existing policy are to ensure that TITAN TALENT GROUP can run and afford to run efficiently. Everyone that works here is paid hourly to be here. 

These changes have been inspired by artists taking advantage of the privileges we extended beyond our contractual obligation and now causing us to implement new policy as a result.

If any of the above reminders or policy changes are not to your liking and you wish to be released from your contract, while we hate to see you go,  we are happy to honor those requests. Simply send an email to operations@titantalentgroup.com and you will be released with no hard feelings.
